Our Perth food tours showcase some of our most vibrant and multi-cultural neighbourhoods, with plenty of hidden gems to taste around every corner.

We currently offer two very unique food tours; The Smokin' BBQ tour is a small group bus tour that takes you on a tasty trip through American-style pit smoked BBQ and woodfired cooking, whilst our Asian Street Food walking tour is a walking tour that takes you into the heart of a vibrant multi-cultural pocket of Perth to 'travel across Asia' through food.

These food tours take a delicious look at some of the best local venues and producers as we eat and drink our way around the hidden corners of Perth. Every tour has something different to offer - meet the locals, sample some exclusive bites, enjoy food and drink pairings and get 'Up Close' behind the scenes for a sneak peek at how it all happens.

Not sure how a 'food tour' works? Think of it like a progressive lunch - visiting multiple venues where you will get to taste the signature dishes at each one, equating to a full meal by the end of the tour. All of the food for the tour is designed around a specific theme, and specially selected for your tour. Up Close and Local's food tours are all inclusive of your food throughout the tour (which is equivalent to a full meal), and are available to book 'by the seat' joining a small group with a maximum 12 people - so jump on board and join some fellow food lovers for a delicious day.
