This unique 'Make Your Own Sparkling Wine Tour' is a HANDS-ON experience with a focus on Meeting the Makers for a more personalised and indepth wine tour. This workshop will focus on the wine making process of 'Méthode traditionnelle' sparkling wines - which is the same method used to make Champagne.

Starting the day at a boutique winery in the beautiful Bickley Valley, you will be treated to a private Sparkling Wine Workshop, where the Winemakers will lead you through the blending, tirage and disgorging steps of sparkling wine production. You will then get hands-on to disgorge and tailor-make 2 bottles of sparkling to your liking. These are yours to take home with you.

Throughout this workshop you will:

Go behind the scenes of the winery
Sample a range of premium sparkling wines
Trial dosage liqueurs to find what suits your taste
Receive a hands on disgorging lesson
Tailor-make 2 bottles (750ml) of sparkling at your preferred dosage
Cork, Muselet and label your bottles to take home

This private Sparkling workshop is part of a full day tour in the Bickley Valley. After a tough morning of 'hard work', you will be rewarded with a delicious winery lunch, and then after lunch we head across the beautiful Bickley Valley to another winery to continue our sparkling tasting - with some wines you may not have seen before! Price includes pick-up/drop-off, wine tastings, a comprehensive workshop with two handmade bottles to take home, lunch overlooking the picturesque vineyards, and a cheese platter.

Tours are max 11 people (and sometimes less) which means we get access to venues that won't take the big bus groups.
For the comfort of all guests, our wine tours are adults 18+ only, and our food tours are 16+. For touring with children, please see our private tour options.
Our tours are not 'cookie cutter' and no two days are the same! We visit small businesses that offer a genuine and authentic local experience. This means sometimes we may need to switch things up and while each tour may be slightly different, you will always get inclusions that are the equivalent (or better!).
