A private wine tour is an exclusive experience just for you and is a bespoke tour customised to suit your desired pace and budget, and tailored to suit your taste.

Private wine tours can include behind the scenes winery and/or vineyard tours, barrel tastings, hands-on experiences, private tastings or food and wine pairing. It completely depends on the style of tour you are after.

For those short on time, a private half day tour will maximise your experience within the amount of time that you have.

We run private wine tours in both the Swan Valley and Bickley Valley (both 30-40 minutes from Perth CBD), you could choose to do one of the two regions, or do a day tour to each, or even cover a bit of both in the one day. We also operate private wine tours to the Margaret River region from Perth, this is approximately three hours South making it a 12-hour day tour or you can choose to do an overnight tour.

We did a great private tour of the Bickley wine region. Our transport was really comfortable and Shannon’s knowledge of the area was great. We tried lots of interesting and different wines and were entertained by the stories and info from the winemakers and owners. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with Shannon and her crew.

The staff at each location were knowledgeable and known to Shannon which makes a difference as we felt like we were her friends, being taken to meet her friends. This is a tour well worth doing and is, in fact, our second with Up Close and Local. Well done - you shine again!
