The Swan Valley wine region features world-class boutique wineries, breweries, distilleries and countless gourmet food producers - all within a 32km loop, making it very easy to see all that the Swan Valley offers within a relaxed day tour.

Although this region is generally well travelled by tourists, there are plenty of hidden gems to be discovered off the beaten path.

A wine and food enclave with generations of tradition and a booming industry of micro-distilleries and craft breweries.

With almost 200 years of winemaking history under its belt, the Swan Valley is home to the oldest vines in Western Australia. with many stories to tell, many of the vineyards are now run by third or fourth generation winemakers continuing the legacy of their ancestors.

One of the warmest wine regions in Australia, the Swan Valley is one of the few regions able to produce a range of wine from sparkling through to fortified styles all in the one region. The wine styles that you will find in this region are fresh, crisp white wines with remarkable ageing potential, and rich fruit forward red wines with great drinkability. Although it is most well-known for it's wine production, there are plenty of other things to taste and discover. Artisan wares and gourmet produce can be found throughout the region - from extra virgin olive oils, olives, preserves, nuts, local honey and freshly roasted coffee to handmade nougat, gelato and chocolate.

There is also an array of restaurants and eateries, from gourmet fine dining to rustic share plates and wine-friendly platters all showcasing the best West Australian seasonal produce. For those looking to combine both their love of food and wine, try a decadent wine and food pairing.

Swan Valley tours are available 'by the seat' where you can join others on either half day tour or premium full day tour, both of which focus on the boutique wineries of the region. Being small group tours, we get access to venues off the beaten path that can't accommodate big bus groups.

Private tours are also available where the experience can be customised to your taste, and can be completely alcohol free if you prefer.

Indepth experience such as vineyard tours, barrel tastings and behind the scenes winery tours are also available most of the year.

For those looking for the ultimate Australian wildlife experience, perched on the doorstep of the Swan Valley is Whiteman Park - 4,000-hectares of protected bushland that is home to Caversham Wildlife Park. This is the ideal place to get up close to cuddle a koala or feed a kangaroo - amongst many other experiences.

Our private Swan Valley tours can be tailored to suit wine-lovers, foodies, or those just looking to explore the best produce and wildlife that Perth has to offer.
