This is Perth's only food tour dedicated to good old American BBQ! The Low and Slow Perth BBQ tour is a celebration of the classic southern smokehouse in all its glory. Smoked ribs, juicy 16-hour brisket, pulled pork and all the deliciously indulgent trimmings that come with it - need we say more?
This food tour is called 'Low and Slow' because that is the only way to get food to taste this good - cooked slowly for a long period of time. When so much love and dedication goes into crafting the perfect piece of meat, why wouldn't you want to celebrate it?
On this food tour we will eat and drink our way around Perth on a progressive lunch, tasting delicious pit smoked Bar-b-q meats and sides from three very different kitchens as well as discovering some small bars around Perth.
This tour is a great day out for a group of food-loving friends, and for visitors to Perth this is a really unique way to see the City and get to places that you otherwise wouldn't find.

Pick-up will be between 10.50am and 11.20am, depending on your location. Drop off time will be approximately 3.30pm to 4pm. We will confirm your exact pick up time via email once we receive your booking.
Cost is $95 per person. This includes pick-up, a progressive lunch across three locations and some drinks including a specialty cocktail. Please note there are NO additional Booking fees or credit card surcharges on any of our tours.

Inspired by the likes of the world-famous Franklin Barbecue in Austin, our tasting route for this tour takes us to three of Perth's best American style Barbecue smokehouses. Stepping inside you will immediately smell the smokey goodness and feel right at home.
All heavily influenced by a passion for traditional southern style smoking techniques, each chef adds his own 'flavour' and style by using local cuts of meat, a combination of beech, hickory and coal to impart unique flavours, a secret mix of spices and their own signature house-made sauces.
Did you know that Perth has a chef that has a Bachelor of Barbeque Science and was trained in Kansas by the world’s most accomplished barbeque chef and pitmaster? You will get to meet him on this tour and hear how he uses his smoker to create those traditional flavours we all love.
American barbeque is a very casual style of eating (there are no white tablecloths here!) you will need to get stuck in with your hands, cover your ribs in sauce and make new friends as you bond over a 16-hour smoked brisket. And of course, no BBQ experience is complete without all the usual suspects such as glorious Mac n Cheese, hearty smoked baked beans and a generous side of southern hospitality.
Just as you start to feel like you are heading into a meat coma, we will stop in at one of Perth's best hidden small bars for a tasty cocktail before we continue on our way!
