For those short on time, or locals looking for a fun and relaxing afternoon, this private half day wine tour of the Bickley Valley will get you off the beaten track to uncover a whole new side of Perth - and give you a taste of everything that this region has to offer. Visit three premium boutique wineries, a craft cider house and enjoy the amazing scenery with a delicious vineyard cheese platter.
A true hidden gem right on the doorstep of Perth, the picturesque Bickley Valley Wine Trail is a beautiful region to visit at all times of the year. We get you access to venues that can't accommodate the big bus tours, and often you will find that the winemaker or owner is the person pouring your tastings - so you really get away from the crowds and 'Up Close' to the locals here.
Boasting stunning views of endless vineyards and orchards, the Bickley Valley is filled with fantastic family-owned boutique wineries and award-winning artisan cider - made right at the orchard! Each guest will enjoy a tasting paddle of signature ciders while enjoying those views over the apple orchards.
You will also visit three premium local wineries to taste a wide range of wines, including rare varietals (some of which you won't find anywhere else in WA) and 20 year old fortified wines. Take in the amazing scenery in this little 'slice of Europe' as you enjoy a delicious vineyard cheese platter for afternoon tea. There is an option to upgrade to a full lunch platter when booking.
Like all of our tours, this all inclusive half day wine tour is set at a relaxed pace to allow plenty of time to explore, taste and speak to the local growers and winemakers. Depending on the season, you may also get the opportunity to purchase freshly picked, locally grown seasonal fruit to take home with you.
As this is a private tour, pricing depends on group size. For groups of 2 to 6 people, check availability and book online here. For groups of 7 to 11 people, please contact us.
THIS TOUR IS PERFECT FOR...
People who are short on time, or for those looking to discover a region that flies under the radar. The Perth Hills is home to a range of alternative varietals, so this is also the ideal spot to taste some lesser seen wines and learn more about them from the vineyard owners.
